An interesting Doulton Lambeth Silicon Ware copper glazed stoneware tobacco jar with trompe-l'œil dents, strapping, rivets and verdigris. Possibly has a replacement lid of papier-mâché which has a Bakelite knop. There is a small chip (1/4") to the opening under the lid. Impressed marks; 6268, dd, ENGLAND, and others.
